Who makes Gulf Driving Prep
Gulf Driving Prep is built and run by Rifat Hossain, an independent app developer based in Bangladesh. It began as a driving-theory practice app for the UAE and has grown into a free website and a set of country apps for learner drivers across the Gulf.
The idea is simple: many people preparing for a Gulf driving test are new to the country and studying in a second language. Gulf Driving Prep gives them free practice questions with clear explanations, mock tests in the format of the test they'll actually sit, and road signs, in English, Arabic and Urdu, with Bangla on the way.
What we stand for
- Accuracy you can check. Facts about test formats and fees show their source and when they were last checked. Where we haven't been able to confirm something against the authority's own material, we say so.
- Independent and honest. We're not connected to any licensing authority or driving school, and we make no promises about test results.
- Free to practise. Everything on the website is free. The apps add offline practice, with optional one-time purchases and no subscriptions.
